With another day to laze around waiting for way point 3 to be released it seemed a waste to spend it prepping the ship like a deranged grease monkey looking for his nuts, having taken in the botanical tour it really wasn’t to hard to follow the Colours of Clouds.
It really didn’t disappoint!

Rubicundum Lagrange cloud
Setting out for Omega Sector DM-M B7-16 I realised I was in for a feast for the eyes, the clouds were vivid and full of Metallic Crystals and Seed pods.

Caeruleum Lagrange cloud
From blues to yellows and reds each cloud was beautiful in its own right.

Croceum Lagrange cloud
But it’s time to start thinking about the journey ahead, tomorrow we set out on our way to the core, no rest stops, no repairs though it is warming to think the hull seals and fuel rats will be with us for the minor bumps and mishaps.

Luteolum Lagrange Cloud

Viridis Lagrange Cloud
So time to head back for a drink, some R & R on the mining station and make the last minute repairs and restock where necessary ready for tomorrow evening.

Roseum Lagrange Cloud

Caeruleum Lagrange Cloud
Again I can’t express enough the effort which has gone into DW2 and both the tours have been well thought out and worth the effort.
The expedition leaves WP 2 at 1900UTC and where we are heading next is unknown at present but one thing is for sure we’re heading to the core, a new station and eventually Beagle Point…who knows what wonder we have to see.
